Our Building’s Legacy

Right in the pocket of midtown, building 153 West 36th Street holds within its walls some serious history. From Buffet-Crampon / Powell / Keilwerth and D’Addario showrooms, to the musicians and repair technicians who ran them, this historic location has housed some incredible talents such as Melanie Wong, Laurie Orr, Luke Penella, Josh Landress, and Bill Singer to name a few!

Our Midtown Music Loft name doesn’t just describe the real estate we occupy, but is a tribute to both legendary artists and artists-supporters who were on the New York loft scene. An era so rich in culture we won’t dishonor it with a brief description. In our own small way, we hope to keep alive the spirit that so many beautiful cats worked so hard to create, share, and preserve.
